Today was the last day of renovations of our new house, as I am pleased to say, it is all done now! Clive has worked his socks off, and I have 'supervised', along with getting next seasons stock onto the web system. And next week, we shall head off for 10 days holiday in France.
We've met some new friends down there now, and so really looking forward to catching up with them, and also we hope to get a couple of days sailing in before we lift the boat out of the water.
Then we are back to work with a vengeance! We have spent nearly 5 months with the designers and web builders planning our new website, and we're hopeful we shall be able to go live with it by the end of December...The idea being, we will all get used to it, in readiness for all the amazing new Spring collection stock that will hit the shop early in the New Year. It is an exciting development for us, and we hope all the internet ladies embrace the changes easily.
I think I have mentioned this before, but Clive and I are avid X Factor followers, so tonight, dinner will be eaten, the kitchen cleared up and we will sit glued to the box! I've voting for Olli, and Danyl....

I believe that for the time being the postal strike is over....so this is really great news for any ladies wishing to place an order over the internet. Over the last two weeks, all our despatches, do seem to have been delivered in a timely fashion but we should be safely back to our regular next day service now.
