A busy weekend!

Sunday 27th September 2009 22:21

Well, the Sister Act show at the Palladium in London was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The traffic jam up Regent Street at 11.30 pm last night was a bit of a pain, and we finally got back to sleepy Norfolk at 2am.
We were very keen to get up fairly quickly though, as Aldo was on a sleepover, and we needed to get him back! We missed him such a lot, but he probably didnt miss us!!
Today we have been doing the most tedious job in the world, and that was packing up all our goods in readiness to move out from above the shop later this week. As I sit here typing, there are cardboard boxes up to my ears on both sides!

This week is going to be very hectic, as at long last, it is the Fashion Show, which has been planned for 6 months, and the next day, moving house. Hopefully we'll be busy in the shop too!
Back again soon.

Sister Act the show!

Friday 25th September 2009 16:44

My birthday was back in february, but Clive and the kids have got us 4 tickets at the front of the theatre to see Sister Act. This is not a 'must see' type show in the usual sense, but it holds lots of memories of family holidays for us as a family.

The only problem we have, is that Aldo the dog cant come to the theatre...so tonight he is being bathed, and tomorrow he is going to stay with a friend. We have to pack up his overnight bag...which includes a chicken thigh, some pasta twirls, and some milky biscuits. We will take his little bed, to show willing, but the truth of it is, that he will expect to jump into bed with Jane and her partner!! I havent mentioned this to her....and hope it just evolves naturally!

Our new website is nearing completion, and we hope to be able to give you lots more info and display the garments better. We've been three months in the design, and it'll be another month in the programming, but then we'll be ready to roll.

No time for blogging!

Tuesday 22nd September 2009 21:25

What a hectic few days...first of all, Clive has declared he has the swine flu....poor boy, has really been unwell, and it is years since he last felt the need to take to his bed, but he couldnt go on any longer! So have been running around bringing him cups of tea, and sympathy (well lots of tea, not too much sympathy) and at the same time, hoping I dont get it too!! We've got tickets to a show at the Palladium in London at the weekend, and after 10 months of looking forward t going, I dont want to be ill now!
Then to add to the stress, we have had 14 models in over 2 days to work out what they are going to wear for the up coming fashion show. The tickets are all sold out with over 55o people coming to see it....so we must make a good impact!
Tomorrow, we are hoping that Clive will be a bit better, and a bit of normality can be restored.

We are moving house soon, so this stress will go on for a little bit longer, but it is all exciting!
