We had such a day today, with a massive delivery to sort out, models for the Fashion Show to dress and loads of customers. So after work we went out to the coast for a bite to eat and a lovely walk along the seafront.
The evenings are drawing in a bit now, so part of our walk was in the dark, but the seafront is fairly well lit up with fairy lights...so quite pretty.
The rest of the new stock will be online by early next week.

In she walked to the shop today, as brown as a berry and full of stories about her stay in some 5 star luxury palace in Sharm el Sheik!
We havent yet seen Karen to hear about her trip to France, and Clare had a great time at my house in Bordeaux...luckily for her, the weather was kind and she managed to get some good beach time into her holiday.
So all the team here at Walkers have enjoyed some good holidays, and now we are all refreshed and ready to plough forward with the new Autumn Collections. The shop is looking amazing....so do come and see us.
Doesnt it always happen, two big cardboard boxes arrived, full of fairly dressy items from Champagne (online by Friday), and the shop gradually got filled up with customers, the phone ringing nearly all day, and I was getting massively behind.
However, it was all good, the customers were in buying mode, the stock did eventually get sorted out, and then at the end of the day, I decided to shift around all the stock in the shop!
Other news, is that we are not going to live above the shop anymore...we've been here for a while since selling our Norwich house and having a house built in South West France...but for various reasons we have decided to move to the beach! Readers of this blog will know that we spend all our free time walking Aldo on the various beaches here in Norfolk and Suffolk, and we are also pretty keen on cycling too...so our move will enable more of these activities. However, as always, work comes first, and other than not answering the shop phone in the evenings, nothing else will change.
