We've been busy all day in the office and now the sun has come out, we are heading off to the lake for a bit of a sail. I'm in trepidation as the wind is really blowing a lot. This means that the boat will be flying along and mainly heeling over right on one side. I dont really like it when we start taking in water.....but Clive loves it!
So as i'm the only crew available, I've got to get a grip and stop complaining!
So...if I dont drown myself...I'll be back again tomorrow!
I mentioned a week or two ago that we have loads of lovely birds in the garden, and we are filling up the bird feeders very frequently.
However, we have a problem, in that Nimbus has discover the art of catching birds...and over the past two weeks, we have gathered up 8 poor little bodies of blue tits and chaffinches.
We now think that we should take down the bird feeders and not encourage these sweet little creatures into the garden and the clutches of our cat. Normally he is a city cat, and the chances of him getting near anything other than a pigeon is very remote. No doubt Nimbus thinks he is having a wonderful holiday in France, with all this action.
What shall we do?
